Students’ Forum

NAPSWI Social Work Students' Forum was being organised as part of the Indian Social Work Conference for social work students pursuing Bachelors/ Masters in social work across Asia-Pacific. The Students' Forum is specifically formed for and by the students, giving them a chance to develop their professional, management, technical, and social development skills as professions and individuals by being the planners as well the participants via different events designed specifically for the social work students.

NAPSWI has also taken steps to strengthen the social work student base by launching the student ambassadorship program for which we have received representatives from 100+ social work schools across the country.

Objectives of Students' Forum:

  • To actively engage the student community
  • To educate, guide and motivate, start a discussion amongst the students by providing a platform to develop a perspective for coping with the situations related to the profession
  • To bring different viewpoints of different stakeholders at one platform
  • To promote the social work education and the profession content online
  • To make the stakeholder relationship easier and better

Specific Objectives

  • To provide a platform to social work students to discuss and deliberate on the issues related to social cohesion, social responsibility and social work during the changing scenario and delve into the innovative research and practice
  • To strength the social work student base and unify them under same platform
