Admission Process and Rules

(i)
All application for admission shall be disposed of by the Governing Body on the recommendation of the President or a Committee constituted by its President with Secretary and/or treasurer as its officio members. No person can claim admission as a matter of right. It shall be competent to the Governing Body refuse admission to any person without assigning reason whatsoever.
(ii)
Any person willing to take up membership of NAPSWI has to pay requisite membership fees. The person seeking membership of the association has to apply on prescribed application form. No person can exercise his right as member till he has paid the admission fee which is non-refundable.
(iii)
Membership fees: It can be revised by Executive Committee as and when situation arises but it will review before three years.


Cessation of Membership

 
(i)
A member ceases to be a member if the said member voluntarily resigns from the membership of NAPSWI.
(ii)
If any member or member association defaults payment of NAPSWI
(iii)
In case of any activity that is prejudicial to the interest of the NAPSWI and/or in violation of the aims and objectives.
(iv)
Any act that is against the ethics of social work profession as may be adopted from time to time, the NAPSWI may initiate action and expel a member subject to holding of a proper enquiry adhering to principles of natural justice.
(v)
On death of a member
(vi)
On changing Category of membership
(vii)
On cessation of studentship


Conversion of Membership

 

Student member can convert their membership as Life member by paying difference amount after passing the course and submission of certificate of the educational qualification.
